FREQUENTLY  ASKED  QUESTIONS

1. Where were your instruments made? How were they made?

For our high-end instruments, they were varnished and adjusted by expert luthier in our workshop in Arcadia, California. We strictly follow the Italian tradition of varnishing process, and use the best varnish available to assure the quality of our instruments.

Our main factory is located in northeast part of China, while has very the same longitude and climate as Europe, and that's the area most suitable for violin making in the country. The main thing that sets apart us from everybody else is our tone wood. We have stocked and kept purchasing the quality wood since the 80's, and let them naturally dry, waiting for the correct timing for instrument making. That's why our instruments can open up better and last longer, even for the students model.

2. Where can I purchase your instruments? Can I directly buy from you?

As a whole seller, we don't deal with individual customers. You can find the dealers in your area at "where to buy" section, or you can contact us at westcoaststrings@hotmail.com. We will find you the nearest dealer for you.

3. How to become a dealer?

Simply contact us at westcoaststrings@hotmail.com, or call the toll free number: 1- 866-599-8202. We will assist you to set up your dealer account.

4. Do you have the M.A.P. (Minimum Advertised Price) of your instruments? Starting from June 2008, we set the M.A.P (Minimum Advertised Price) for all our instruments. Thus, no dealers can sell our instruments lower than the M.A.P. list, in any advertised format. (On line store, ebay listing…etc.) We do this to protect all our dealers' benefit and for the sake of marketing balance. If you see any advertisement shows the sale price lower than the M.A.P. Please contact us.
